Recent legislation on social housing has put housing associations under increased pressure to make significant improvements and safeguard the interests and wellbeing of their residents.
The cost of living has added to both upkeep and maintenance fees, with operating margins falling and looking to remain tight for the rest of the decade. Tenants and suppliers both have limited visibility on what progress has been made, which only creates more frustration.
